Fantasy Tree Festival

Russell Child Development Center will host the 28th Annual Fantasy Tree Festival on Saturday, November 22nd at the Clarion Inn and Convention Center in Garden City. The event will benefit RCDC’s early intervention programs and services for children

On Saturday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm the public can take in the Holiday Home Tours, Sunnyland Tablescapes, Fantasy Tree Festival Auction Preview and complimentary refreshments (starting at 2:00 pm) at Ward’s Garden Café. At 6:00 pm the Fantasy Tree Festival will kick off with dinner hors d’oeuvres and live entertainment, followed by a live auction. Multiple silent auction tables that will run throughout the evening. Auction items are donated by individuals and businesses that support RCDC.

 

The Holiday Home Tours will be hosted by the Alpha Zeta Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha. The sorority group has organized home tours at three Garden City addresses for ticket holders to view seasonal home styling and holiday décor. The tour also includes Sunnyland Tablescapes, hosted by Fred and Kathryn Askren at Sunnyland Bed & Breakfast, 501 N. 5th Street. Sunnyland will also have chance drawings at their table displays, which are also created by local individuals.

 

Tickets for the Holiday Home Tours & Sunnyland Tablescapes are $15 each and include 6 Tablescape chance drawing entries, the auction preview and refreshments at Ward’s. Fantasy Tree Festival tickets are $40 per person or two for $75. All tickets are available at the Clarion Inn, Regan Jewelers, Dillon’s East & West, Wheatfields on Main, The Corner on Main, Ward’s Garden Center, the AmericInn Hotel & Suites, and at Russell Child Development Center.

 

The evening auction will close with a chance drawing for a GE electric washer and dryer set with steam and state-of the art “Clean Speak Communication System”.  Chance tickets are $10 each or 6 tickets for $50 suggested donation (need not be present to win) by calling 620-275-0291 or stopping the Clarion Inn where the units are on display. Russell Child Development Center has a proud history of providing high quality, research-based services to Southwest Kansas’ infants and toddlers.
