Russell Child Development Center (RCDC) is a community based not-for-profit organization. RCDC serves as the umbrella agency for 4 early childhood programs in 19 Southwest Kansas counties. Programs include:
tiny-k Early Intervention: provides FREE early intervention services to children ages birth to 36 months and their families.
Building Blocks Project: provides evidence-based practices for quality learning opportunities, essential family and caregiver supports, provides resources to enhance early literacy and overall child development, and family confidence and competence.
Child & Adult Care Food Program: provides food reimbursement and nutritional support to licensed child care providers in 14 Southwest Kansas counties.
Targeted Case Management: assists eligible individuals' support networks using both paid services and natural supports to enhance individual's experiences.
Russell Child Development Center serves the following counties: Greeley, Wichita, Scott, Lane, Ness, Hamilton, Kearny, Finney, Hodgeman, Stanton, Grant, Haskell, Gray, Ford, Morton, Stevens, Seward, Meade, and Clark.
